حضرت سید شاہ برکت اللہ قادری عشقی پیمی مارہروی رحمۃ اللہ تعالی علیہ

 

امام سلسلۂ برکاتیہ، سلطان العاشقین، صاحب البرکات، حضرت سید شاہ برکت اللہ قادری عشقی پیمی مارہروی رحمۃ اللہ تعالی علیہ کی ولادت 26 جمادی الآخرہ 1070ھ کو بلگرام شریف میں ہوئی۔ آپ عالم باعمل، صوفی باصفا، شیخ المشائخ، مصنف کتب، صاحب دیوان و قادر الکلام شاعر، عوام و خواص کے مرجع اور بانی خانقاہ برکاتیہ ہیں۔ 26 سال تک مسلسل حالت روزہ میں رہے، بیشتر وقت یاد الہی میں غرق رہتے اور مدتوں رات بھر بیدار اور مشغول عبادت رہتے۔ پوری زندگی دین کی تبلیغ اور مخلوق خدا کی رہنمائی میں گزاری، ہزاروں لوگ آپ کے ہاتھ پر مشرف بہ اسلام ہوئے۔ 10 محرم الحرام 1142ھ شب عاشورہ کو مارہرہ مطہرہ، ضلع ایٹہ، یو پی، ہندستان میں وصال فرمایا جہاں آپ کا مزار پرانوار مرکز انوار و تجلیات ہے۔ (تاریخ خاندان برکات، تذکرہ مشائخ مارہرہ)

Imam of Barakatiyah Sufi Order, Sultan al-Aashiqeen, Sahib al-Barakaat, Sayyid Shah Barakatullah Qadiri Ishqi Paymi Marehrawi (Alayhir Rahmah) was born on 26th Jumad al-Akhir 1070 AH in Bilgram Sharif. He was a pious practicing scholar, noble Sufi sage, shaykh of shaykhs, author, excellent published poet, admirable personality, and founder of Khanqah Barkatiyah. For 26 years, he would fast in the day, immersed in the remembrance of Allah most of the time, and stayed awake and engaged in worship throughout the nights. He spent his entire life preaching Islam and guiding people to the right path. Thousands of people embraced Islam at his hands. He passed away on the night of Ashura, the 10th of Muharram 1142 AH in Marehra Mutahhara, Eta District, U.P., India where his blessed mausoleum is the center of spiritual blessings and upliftment.
