قطب مارہرہ، زبدۃ الواصلین، اسد العارفین، حضرت سید شاہ حمزہ عینی قادری برکاتی مارہروی رحمۃ اللہ تعالی علیہ کی ولادت 14 ربیع الآخر 1131ھ کو مارہرہ شریف میں ہوئی۔ آپ نبیرۂ صاحب البرکات، شہزادۂ شاہ آل محمد، عالم باعمل، ممتاز عامل، صاحب فضل و کمال، عظیم شیخ طریقت، کئی کتب کے مصنف، بہترین ادیب و شاعر، اور مارہرہ مطہرہ کی وسیع لائبریری کے بانی ہیں۔ آپ کو علوم دینیہ کے ساتھ ساتھ علم جفر، تکسیر، فلکیات، ارضیات اور خصوصا اکسیر سازی کے علم میں بھی مہارت حاصل تھی۔ 14 محرم الحرام 1198ھ بروز بدھ وصال فرمایا۔ مزار شریف ”درگاہ شاہ برکت اللہ“ کے دالان میں شرقی گنبد میں ہے۔ (تاریخ خاندان برکات، تذکرہ مشائخ مارہرہ)

Qutb of Marehra, Leader of Gnostics, Sayyid Shah Hamza Aeyni Qadiri Barakati Mareharawi (Alayhir Rahmah) was born on 14 Rabi al-Akhir 1131 AH in Marehra Sharif. He is the grandson of Sahib al-Barakaat, Son of Shah Aal-e-Muhammad, pious practicing scholar, spiritual healer, man of grandeur and marvels, great spiritual guide, author of numerous books, excellent linguistic and poet, and founder of the extensive library of Marehara Mutahhara. Along with the religious sciences, he was well versed in the sciences of astrology, astronomy, arithmetic, geology, and al-Taksir. He passed away on Wednesday, 14 Muharram 1198 AH.
