عارف باللہ، حضرت شیخ سید ابو الحسن علی بن عبداللہ الحسنی قادری شاذلی مالکی رحمۃ اللہ تعالی علیہ

 

بانی سلسلۂ شاذلیہ، عارف باللہ، حضرت شیخ سید ابو الحسن علی بن عبداللہ الحسنی قادری شاذلی مالکی رحمۃ اللہ تعالی علیہ کی ولادت 591ھ غمارہ، شمالی مراکش میں ہوئی۔ آپ ولی کامل، مصنف کتب اور شیخ المشائخ ہیں۔ آپ کی کتاب ”دعائے حزب البحر“ بہت مشہور ہے۔ اوائل ذیقعدہ 656ھ میں سفر حج کے دوران وادی حمیثرہ (صحرائے عیذاب) مصر میں وصال فرمایا جہاں آپ کا مزار مرجع خلائق ہے۔ (الاعلام للزرکلی، الوافی بالوفیات)

Founder of the Shadhili Sufi order, Shaykh Abu al-Hasan Sayyid Ali bin Abdullah al-Hasani Qadiri Shadhili Maliki (Alayhir Rahmah) was born in 591 AH in Ghomara, near Ceuta in the north of Morocco. He was an acclaimed wali, author of books, and shaykh of Sufi gnostics. His book ‘‘Dua Hizb al-Bahr’’ is quite famous. During the early days of Dhu al-Qa’dah 656 AH, shortly after he departed for the Hajj pilgrimage, he passed away in the valley of Humaythara, the eastern desert of Egypt where his majestic mausoleum is frequently visited by the devotees.
